1. Hand Hierarchy (Ranked Highest to Lowest)
Teen Patti uses a standard 52-card deck (without jokers). The ranking hierarchy differs slightly from traditional 5-card poker because the probability of landing specific 3-card combinations is distinct:
| Rank | Hand Name | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Trail (Trio / Set) | Three cards of identical rank | A♠ A♥ A♦ (Highest) |
| 2 | Pure Sequence (Straight Flush) | Three consecutive cards of the same suit | A♠ K♠ Q♠ |
| 3 | Sequence (Straight) | Three consecutive cards in mixed suits | A♠ K♥ Q♦ |
| 4 | Color (Flush) | Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence | K♦ 9♦ 4♦ |
| 5 | Pair (Double) | Two cards of identical rank | Q♠ Q♣ 8♥ |
| 6 | High Card | Highest single card when no other combo is made | A♣ J♦ 6♠ |
2. Side Bets: 3+3 Bonus & Pair Plus
In modern live dealer studios (such as Evolution Gaming or Ezugi), Teen Patti offers exciting side wagers:
- Pair Plus: Evaluates your 3 cards independently of dealer hand. Pays out for Pair or higher.
- 3+3 Bonus (6-Card Poker): Combines player 3 cards and dealer 3 cards to form the best 5-card poker hand. Pays up to 1000:1 for a Royal Flush.
